Groom's Mantel (background) reflected some of his favorite things - deer antler candleholder made by his grandfather, Texas star & the infamous Texas Longhorns flanked by fresh pine and holly berries.

Connie specializes in making sure the Groom's cake table is a reflection of him.  For this groom, his table was 'all about the cowboy' with a pair of his favorite boots and hat, the candles wrapped in hay bayler twine, leather tablecloth and a gift from the wedding designer to add the finishing touch - a slate depicting a cowboy on his horse ready to rope. 

The Bride's mantel  reflected a bit of elegance and country combined with her chosen colors of red and brown.  The mantel was filled with fresh pine and filled with holly berries, oil lanterns from the bride's mother were lit for ambiance, that famous Texas star that is a favorite of the bride and groom, flanked on the ends of the mantel with red glass apothecary jars.  The Christmas stockings were made of cowhide and 2 large cowhide rugs were on the floor in front of the mantel where the bride and groom said their vows. 

Photographs of the bride and goom depicted their love for one another and their 'fun' side as well.  In keeping with the cowboy theme, the display was flanked with red bandana ribbon and some of the bride's cowboy ornament collection.

Guest tables were adorned with the cowboy's lariet rope keeping with the country cowboy theme.  A bandana ribbon surrounded the many mason jar candle holders that were from the collection of the bride's mother.  The faux leather table runners were made by the wedding designer, Connie Wells, to duplicate the tablecloth that adorned the groom's cake table.  Napkins were folded to look like candles standing   upright adding to the Holiday spirit.
